Description North America Sustainability Strategy & Execution is looking for a Senior Program Manager to identify, scope and lead programs in Sustainability. In this role, the Senior Program Manager, R2L Sustainability will own cross-functional and technology projects and programs to meet sustainability goals in transportation. The individual will create project plans, develop processes, coordinate across organizations, drive execution, and communicate to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. The Senior Program Manager, R2L Sustainability will influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. This position will need an individual with experience delivering results while balancing customer needs, data analysis, project and stakeholder management, and internal/external communications. Key job responsibilities • Manage full lifecycle complex cross-functional programs with impact across multiple organizations • Work closely with partner teams and stakeholders in and outside of the organization to deliver, source, allocate, and coordinate resources • Develop quantitative models and forward-looking projections to evaluate financial and sustainability impacts of business decisions • Analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment • Seek to understand business problems, scaling factors and reasons behind leadership decisions • Identify and mitigate risks • Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate impact critical business initiatives • Develop, implement, and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects • Set-up mechanisms to scale sustainability solutions and pilots at stations Additional details for internal candidates Basic Qualifications • 5+ years of program or project management experience • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams to deliver decarbonization or fleet-related programs across 10+ buildings Preferred Qualifications • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome challenges with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
