Full Description

The Global Fleet and Products organization is responsible for managing and supporting the Amazon Last Mile Fleet. We're seeking a strategic Program Manager to drive breakthrough solutions in Amazon's last-mile delivery fleet management. You'll be the catalyst for creating world-class vehicle maintenance programs and managing critical vendor relationships that ensure our delivery network remains efficient, safe, and innovative. At least 25% travel is expected. Key job responsibilities - Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and repair program strategies - Create and drive cross-functional project plans with significant organizational impact - Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and quantify performance metrics - Coordinate resources and align stakeholders across multiple teams and networks - Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and service level agreements, driving continuous improvement - Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks before they become operational challenges - Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure long-term program success and innovation A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving. About the team We are the Fleet In-Life Services team, dedicated to managing Amazon's delivery fleet throughout its entire lifecycle. Our mission is to reinvent fleet management through innovative solutions, from vehicle deployment to retirement. We're passionate about improving operational efficiency, exploring electrification technologies, and ensuring our vehicles are always ready to deliver. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management Preferred Qualifications: - Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships - Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics - Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - Experience in program management, logistics, operations, transportation, learning or a related field - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
