Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon. Job Summary: This position serves as the central point of coordination for critical initiatives, ensuring seamless execution from inception through completion. The role demands a strategic thinker who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication channels across all organizational levels. Success in this position requires the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, establish realistic timelines, and drive accountability throughout the entire lifecycle of assigned initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities, strong leadership presence, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances while keeping teams focused on deliverables. Responsibilities: • Coordinate all phases of assigned initiatives from planning through implementation and closure • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverable schedules to ensure on-time completion • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills, availability, and priorities • Monitor progress against established benchmarks and proactively identify potential roadblocks • Facilitate regular status meetings with team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership detailing progress, risks, and outcomes • Manage stakeholder expectations through consistent communication and relationship building • Lead cross-functional teams and provide direction to ensure cohesive execution • Identify resource needs and coordinate allocation to support successful delivery • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency • Track budget expenditures and ensure financial accountability throughout the lifecycle • Document lessons learned and contribute to organizational knowledge management Skills: • Stakeholder management and relationship building across diverse groups • Project periodization and phase-based planning methodologies • End-to-end ownership of deliverables with accountability for outcomes • Classical project management techniques and frameworks • Cross-functional collaboration and team facilitation • Strategic planning and goal-setting capabilities • Risk identification and mitigation strategies • Resource allocation and workload management • Written and verbal communication for various audiences • Problem-solving and critical thinking under pressure • Time management and prioritization of competing demands • Leadership and team motivation Experience: • 4-7 years of experience in project or program coordination roles • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships and expectations • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving initiatives to completion • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborative efforts • Background working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field This opportunity offers the chance to make a tangible impact on organizational success by leading initiatives that matter.
