We are hiring a Program manager to transform complex business challenges into innovative solutions that drive meaningful impact across Amazon's diverse operations. As a strategic problem solver, you'll design and implement process improvements that directly enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Key job responsibilities Program Strategy & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional programs, from high-level strategy to tactical delivery across multiple organizations. Process Optimization: Design and launch comprehensive process and product improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and customer experience. Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting and metrics to quantify program performance and provide visibility into critical milestones. Strategic Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex operational challenges using data-driven insights and innovative strategic planning. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and drive team-based projects. Risk Mitigation & Governance: Oversee gaps between systems and processes to reduce exposure to failure modes, ensuring requirements are documented and stakeholders are aligned. Technical Documentation: Author high-quality documentation for internal and external teams to define project scope, priority, and long-term impact. A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. You'll navigate complex business landscapes, working across multiple teams to develop and implement transformative solutions that push the boundaries of operational excellence. About the team We are a collaborative network of strategic thinkers dedicated to solving intricate business challenges. Our team spans multiple domains including AWS, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Devices, and Prime Video. We pride ourselves on empowering our team members to think independently, drive innovation, and create substantial business impact. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
