Full Description

Are you a tech-savvy storyteller who can translate complex energy & utilities (E&U) cloud solutions into compelling customer value? At AWS, we're seeking an Industry Product Marketing Manager who can shape the future of cloud computing. As the world's leading cloud and AI provider with 200+ services, AWS needs strategic thinkers who can connect the dots across our vast portfolio. In this role, you'll work backwards from customer needs to influence product and use case strategy for the E&U industries, and across technical domains - from Analytics and AI to Security and Developer Tools. Industry verticals have unique needs and paths for cloud adoption, and the AWS Industry Marketing team helps customers transform their businesses leveraging the broadest and deepest portfolio of cloud services and solutions for industry customers. We're looking for a unique blend of technologist and business strategist - someone who can dive deep into technical architecture while crafting industry-level value propositions that resonate with customers. You'll partner with product and GTM teams to identify our ideal customers, understand their priorities and use cases, shape our portfolio of offerings to address those use cases, synthesize market intelligence, and develop messaging that helps customers understand how AWS can transform their business. If you thrive at the intersection of technology and business strategy and want to impact how organizations around the world leverage cloud computing and AI, this role is for you. Key job responsibilities • Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop E&U portfolio-level strategy documents and guide AWS service prioritization. • Create and own E&U positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to customers. • Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources — including direct customer feedback — to identify product opportunities and shape E&U portfolio strategy. • Lead E&U product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles. • Craft, execute, and refine marketing plans and leverage channels to engage key audiences, reach our customers, and help grow their understanding and usage of AWS services. • Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate customers on AWS offerings. • Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, E&U industry events, and analyst interactions. • Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success. • Align with E&U technical and business leaders on primary cloud and AI use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best practice architecture and services for each use case. • Work at both the strategic and tactical level of champion bold and creative ideas. • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to meet with customers and internal stakeholders (10-15% annually). About the team AWS Industry Marketing is a global team of marketing experts focused on establishing and growing perception that AWS is the best cloud & AI provider for each industry. We aspire to make AWS the best cloud for media & entertainment, games, and sports customers. We engage an ever-expanding universe of developers, business leaders, and technology buyers to help them understand how the cloud & AI can help achieve groundbreaking transformations and ‘firsts’ for their industry. And, we seek to help businesses in virtually every vertical adopt AWS services, solutions, and products for their most strategic, highest-value workloads.
