Role Overview: As a Support Engineer for Kuiper Enterprise Customer Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our satellite broadband services. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide exceptional support that drives customer satisfaction and operational excellence. What You'll Do: - You will diagnose and resolve technical issues related to satellite broadband connectivity and hardware. - You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify root causes and implement solutions. - You will provide timely and clear communication to customers regarding issue status and resolution steps. - You will document support cases and contribute to knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency. - You will assist in the deployment and testing of new hardware and software updates. - You will monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues. - You will participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage. - You will contribute feedback to product teams to enhance service reliability and customer experience. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in technical support or customer-facing engineering roles. - Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies. - Experience with satellite communication systems or broadband technologies is highly desirable. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in complex environments. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation. - Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools. - Previous experience in aerospace or telecommunications industries.
