Leo IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization. Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. Key job responsibilities * This shift is a Night-Shift position, with a 6PM start time. * Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues. * Provision, Deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and maxOS workstations * Provision, Deploy, and troubleshoot bare-metal windows and Linux servers * Configure, Deploy, and Replace network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls * Participate in hiring, training and development of others * Provide technical support for Leo Production, lab and launch Infrastructure, components, and associated software * Provide remote support for Leo employees and infrastructure worldwide * Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades * Assist with project implementations and technology deployments * Drives engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards. * Participate in on-call responsibilities. * up to 25% Travel Requirements 10037 A day in the life You start the day by reviewing critical incidents that need to be prioritized. After addressing immediate concerns, you will join the daily team stand up and work on projects and tickets critical to production and take part with a rotating on-call. In this role, you will build relationships with production teams, mentor, and ensure stability and standardization. Operational excellence and customer obsession are core values of this role, as we own providing best-in-class services to the critical Kuiper systems. About the team Kuiper IT Services is a fast paced technical support organization that is focused on supporting large scale business initiatives while keeping a Day1 mentality. Our support scope involves several highly technical areas such as Production Operations, Lab Operations, Launch, and Warehousing. Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience - 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience - 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience - High school or equivalent diploma - 2+ years of Linux operating systems experience Preferred Qualifications: - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications - Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
