The WHS Program Manager drives operational excellence and strategic compliance initiatives for the Health Solution Team (HST) under Global Medical & Health (GMH), leading cross-functional programs across multiple operational countries while providing direct WHS partnership to Global sites. This role develops scalable compliance solutions, optimizes HST program delivery, and ensures sites meet regulatory requirements through data-driven strategies that balance immediate operational needs with long-term organizational goals. Key job responsibilities • Lead strategic planning with business unit leadership teams to align GMH goals with operational priorities, track program effectiveness through data-driven metrics, and implement continuous improvements across multiple teams • Develop end-to-end compliance strategies and solutions that optimize HST program costs while improving regulatory adherence, making trade-offs between short and long-term organizational needs • Conduct WHS regulatory research and data analytics, translating complex findings into executive-level narratives and white papers that meet Amazon's technical writing standards and drive decision-making • Drive enterprise-wide health initiatives by identifying synergies across business units, documenting key learnings, and scaling successful pilot programs to broader implementation • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including WHS, BI teams, and business unit leaders to design and deliver Health Solution programs that meet compliance requirements and operational goals • Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships that support GMH mission objectives, managing expectations and negotiating priorities to clarify success criteria • Develop and optimize operational excellence procedures for compliance tracking and HST programs, leveraging BI partnership for dashboard development and data integration • Maintain working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and collaborate with BI teams to create scalable mechanisms for program monitoring and reporting About the team The Global Medical & Health (GMH) organization comprises three teams: the Global Medical Team (GMT), Health Solutions Team (HST), and Health Data Strategy. This role supports the Health Solutions Team in driving WHS compliance and operational excellence across Global sites. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - 3+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
