We are seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar projects. The role will lead a team of category managers and will partner closely with stakeholders to develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings/value and improve productivity across the category. This role will be part of an exciting, fast moving and growing team. The right candidate for this role will be a self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to the end. You must be able to work independently in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing and ambiguous environment. You will have an eye for detail and determination to standardize processes and turn-over high-quality work. This position involves direct contact with both internal and external stakeholders, and the candidate must have an ability to communicate effectively with business partners at every level, including upper management to inform decision making. Key job responsibilities Lead and develop a team of category managers delivering category projects, partnering cross-functionally and owning the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar programs. Define, develop, and drive long-term sourcing strategies through the team; lead key initiatives with cross-functional partners and shape the decision-making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership. Build relationships and alignment with internal and external stakeholders to effectively plan and deliver key programs, particularly for Prime week and Peak season. Own the team's collective targets and goals; identify and drive incremental process and system improvements through the team. Oversee supplier sourcing, award, contracting, and ongoing support through project delivery; ensure the team maintains strong commercial relationships with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and performance. Drive supplier performance management across the team, including improving sustainability and social responsibility outcomes. Develop and own Key Performance Indicators; set clear goals and expectations for the team aligned to business objectives. Monitor and audit team progress to ensure customer expectations are consistently met; remove blockers and coach team members to deliver results. Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
