The Amazon Specialized Business Security (SBS) organization is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role is a highly trusted and true partner of the business who operates with autonomy, judgment, and discretion. This role goes beyond calendar and logistics management and is deeply embedded in the business anticipating needs, influencing outcomes, and enabling leaders to operate at scale. This role requires regular, high judgement coordination with SVP and S-team front offices and, at times, the CEO's office. The Executive Assistant is expected to represent the front office with professionalism and discretion, manage sensitive priorities across senior leadership teams, and ensure seamless alignment across complex, high visibility engagements. In addition to direct executive support, this role provides functional leadership for a team of EAs, helping set standards, establish operating rhythms, and drive consistency across the SBS organization. You will be expected to lead through influence, mentorship, and example. Over time, this role will take on a direct report EA to help support the CISO front office. Success in this role requires strong people judgment, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a commitment to developing others while driving business outcomes. This role requires five (5) days a week in office. Key job responsibilities - Own complex calendar and scheduling. - Own domestic and international travel. - Manage expense report coordination and submission. - Be a self-starter who proactively cuts through ambiguity - identifying issues and opportunities and proposing ways to address them. - Proactively develop, organize, plan and execute or assist with team activities (Staff meetings; All-Team meetings; Off-Sites; and team social events/recognition). This includes proactively building out quarterly and annual calendars of events, and developing recommendations about cadence and content for events. - Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on overdue items. - Partner with Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) to manage team space, including moves, new hire location assignments, and re-configurations. - Serve as a Lead EA helping to hire, grow, and develop other EAs. - Have fun at work and help others do the same!
