Job Title Manager, Sales In This Role You'll: Be proficient with functional and Industry knowledge and network (Airports IT and/or Borders), recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Serves as an advisor, coordinates and guides others in resolving complex issues with implications on cross functional business processes and outcomes. Understand industry drivers, uses financial indicators to measure performance and effectively drives business decisions; recommends solutions/best practices and strategies in own area. Contribute with the planning and organization of strategic pursuits. Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Provide leadership and direction to other stakeholders. Identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with top-level executives. Identify customers’ specific needs and submit business proposals. Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up. Promote and sell products, services and solutions through direct contacts, events and road shows. Deliver sales presentations to senior management. Manage negotiations to closure. Actively participate in the overall marketing activities and programs and contribute to marketing intelligence. Perform Market and competitor analysis. Specific accountabilities: Drive sales and renewal strategy for the NORTH AMERICA, Sales Planning, usage of Sales Force, in line with BU LTP, working in close collaboration with Pre-sales, Bid Management, and other teams. Review and contribute to the regional pipeline and prioritization of opportunities in line with LTP. Review product and solution mix in line with opportunities in the region and recommendations to the organization. Sales Engagement Strategy: Qualify opportunities raised by account management in terms of solution fit and revenue potential. Develop and take ownership of the sales strategy, the relationship mapping and the planning for each engagement, with support of account management within the territory. Bid Management: Lead Airports and/or Borders deals. Take full ownership of management of sales opportunities under its portfolio, from start of the engagement to contract signature. May be supported by Sales Managers on the more complex deal in order to concentrate on bring leadership and strategic thinking to the larger tenders. Contract Negotiations: Prime entry point for customer negotiation team. Structure the negotiation framework in line with BU objectives and legal criteria. Coordinate internal contract negotiation team.
