How You Will Contribute Please note: this is an internal (non-client-facing) support role. Responsibilities • Contracting & Compliance • Review and revise engagement letters to align with firm policies and risk standards • Prepare executive summaries of engagement letters for internal stakeholders • Leverage AI tools to review and analyze engagement letters efficiently • Apply customized work rules and risk protocols based on engagement-specific factors • Assist in the development of tools and processes that support engagement team compliance with engagement contracts • Maintain catalog of policies, procedures and protocols related to client engagements • Monitor ongoing compliance with obligations in client agreements • Manage overall internal records and documentation related to compliance matters • Manage internal risk management intranet (SharePoint) page • Evaluate and analyze compliance data • Develop and present compliance assessments • Support maintenance of standard engagement letter formats on SharePoint • Support the process of negotiating the various agreements necessary to execute the various third party client agreements (I.e., NA, Subcontractor Agreement, Engagement Letters/Statements of Work) including coordination with A&M Legal, Engagement Team Leadership and the Risk Management Office • Strategic Initiatives • Lead and coordinate project management efforts for risk-related strategic initiatives • Define future-state processes, business requirements, and success criteria • Design, test, and iterate on templates, tools, and frameworks to support risk management • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, reviews, and pilot testing sessions • Develop and maintain comprehensive implementation plans for new initiatives • Business Engagement • Track and maintain a calendar of key risk-related meetings and agenda topics • Develop content, briefing materials, and presentations for leadership and stakeholder meetings • Draft communications that support risk policies, updates, or changes across the firm • Create training materials and assist in the facilitation of training sessions for staff • Ad-Hoc Support • Provide responsive and flexible support on emerging or unplanned risk matters • Respond to requests from engagement team leadership with respect to risk management process, questions, issues, etc. • Collaborate cross-functionally on special projects or requests as needed • Build and maintain the internal SharePoint sites Preferred Qualifications • Minimum 5 years’ experience • Undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, or related field is preferred • Solid understanding of compliance and risk management issues • Ability to work with limited supervision and lead projects following tight deadlines • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Experience updating files on SharePoint • Proficient in MS PowerPoint with a high degree of attention to detail and commitment to delivery gold standard outputs • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive legal and business information • This is not an all-encompassing list, nor does a qualified candidate need to meet every item listed Your journey at A&M We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development. Benefits Summary Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range for Manager (internal) is $120,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
