Are you looking for a new and exciting fundraising opportunity at the digital crossroads of immigration and higher education? Your work and professionalism can help change the world with us. We will be highly selective for this important role in our company, but you will be very well compensated and have the opportunity for a permanent position based upon performance and cultural fit. At our core, we are an online platform that empowers students' worldwide access to the highest levels of education. We are seeking a part-time Chief Investment Officer who will help with a capital raise of $2M to $5M from venture capital firms, family offices and high-net worth individuals. You must have a demonstrable background in raising funds to be considered. Full-time employment will be considered and is preferable based upon performance. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process. Our Team Our team is as diverse as the students we service. Comprised of multiple nationalities, multiple languages spoken, current representation in over 6 countries and growing; We foster and celebrate diversity. Initial Primary Core Functions: • Establish and nurture investor relationships • Assist in the development of marketing materials, placement materials and strategies • Successfully raise and close capital investments Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with colleagues and external partners representing a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities • Excellent organization skills and an unwavering ability to meet deadlines • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills • Well developed relationship management skills and ability to independently grow and manage a sophisticated and diverse pipeline of investors Candidates Must Demonstrate: • A demonstrable proven track record in raising funds • Existing investor network of ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions are essential. • 2-10+ years of banking, institutional sales, investor relations/fundraising, fund placement advisory, asset/investment management experience. • Proactive sales/business development skills. • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with excellent collaboration skills. • Dynamic and entrepreneurial personality. Education/ Certifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; an MBA is preferred
