Position Overview We are seeking professional and highly motivated Motorcoach Bus Drivers to join our team. Drivers will operate daily scheduled intercity shuttle services, ensuring that passengers are transported safely, punctually, and with the highest level of customer care. This intercity service requires cross-border (USA - Canada ) availability and ability meaning the shuttle route crosses into Canada from the USA and a return depending on your schedule and day of travel. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong safety record, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Position is available now. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate company-owned motor coaches in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, assisting with boarding, luggage handling, and responding to inquiries courteously. • Maintain strict adherence to assigned schedules, routes, and timetables. • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance requirements. • Accurately complete driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation. • Communicate promptly with dispatch and operations teams regarding schedule updates, traffic delays, or any incidents on the road. • Ensure the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of the coach throughout the service day. • Represent Atlas Coach Line professionally at all times, acting as an ambassador of the company. Qualifications • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement and a clean driving record. • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience operating motor coaches, transit buses, or equivalent heavy vehicles. • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service compliance, and road safety practices. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with passengers from diverse backgrounds. • High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. • Must meet all medical and physical requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Preferred Qualifications & Experience • Prior experience with scheduled intercity, commuter, or long-distance passenger services. • Multilingual abilities (English/French/Spanish) considered an asset. • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS systems, and modern fleet technologies.
