Key Responsibilities:Data Engineering & Development • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, ConductIT, Control Center, etc.) • Develop scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing. • Perform data modeling, transformation logic, metadata management, and lineage tracking. System Integration & Optimization • Integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and warehouses. • Optimize performance, throughput, and resource utilization of Ab Initio components. • Improve automation, error handling, and monitoring capabilities. Data Quality & Governance • Apply data profiling, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation techniques. • Support data governance, metadata standards, and business rule implementation. • Collaborate with data stewards and analysts to improve reliability and usability. Collaboration & Support • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. • Work with architects, data modelers, and DevOps teams to align on architecture, deployment, and security. • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. • 4–8 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development. • Strong, hands-on expertise in Ab Initio GDE, ConductIT, Control Center, and EME repository. • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and troubleshooting complex data workflows. • Experience with relational databases and data warehouse concepts.
