Your focus will be on resolving inquiries, providing information, and enhancing the overall member experience through effective communication and problem-solving. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly to member inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring clear and empathetic communication. - You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to health insurance coverage, claims, and benefits. - You will document all interactions accurately in the customer relationship management system. - You will collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex member concerns. - You will stay updated on health insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - You will provide feedback to improve customer service processes and member satisfaction. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare customer support or related roles. - Strong knowledge of health insurance terminology, claims processing, and benefits. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with health insurance providers or in a call center environment. - Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Prior experience in remote work settings.
