Role Overview: As an Embedded Engineer at ALTA IT Services, you will play a critical role in designing and developing embedded systems for drone-based electronic warfare technologies. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and test embedded software for real-time drone electronic warfare systems. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and system architects to integrate embedded solutions. - You will troubleshoot and debug embedded systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes. - You will document software designs, test plans, and system specifications clearly and thoroughly. - You will support system integration and validation activities in both lab and field environments. - You will maintain compliance with defense industry standards and security protocols. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - You have 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in defense or aerospace. - You are proficient in C/C++ programming and have experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). - You have hands-on experience with microcontrollers, embedded hardware interfaces, and debugging tools. - You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - You hold US Citizenship or Permanent Residency, meeting security clearance requirements. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with drone or UAV systems development. - Familiarity with electronic warfare or signal processing applications. - Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies. - Experience with hardware description languages (HDL) or FPGA programming.
