Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at ALTA IT Services, you will play a critical role in automating and streamlining software development processes. Your expertise will ensure efficient building, testing, and deployment of software, enhancing the overall delivery pipeline and supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines for software build, test, and deployment. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and scalability. - You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability. - You will manage cloud infrastructure and optimize resource utilization. - You will implement security best practices within the DevOps processes. - You will document processes and provide training to team members on DevOps tools and methodologies. - You will participate in on-call rotations to support production environments. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Understanding of security compliance standards and practices. - Background in software development or system administration. - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
