Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at ALTA IT Services, you will play a critical role in automating and streamlining software development processes. Your expertise will ensure efficient building, testing, and deployment of applications, supporting our clients' needs in a hybrid work environment. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability and performance. - You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure uptime. - You will manage cloud infrastructure and optimize resource utilization. - You will develop scripts and tools to improve automation and operational efficiency. - You will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality. - You will ensure security best practices are integrated into the DevOps processes. - You will document processes and provide training to team members as needed. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Understanding of security compliance and best practices in DevOps. - Background in software development or system administration. - Certifications related to cloud or DevOps technologies.
