Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at ALTA IT Services, you will play a critical role in automating and streamlining software development processes. Your expertise will help enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery pipeline, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and deployment. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance. - You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability. - You will manage cloud infrastructure and optimize resource utilization. - You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - You will implement security best practices in the DevOps lifecycle. - You will document processes and provide training to team members on DevOps tools and practices. - You will participate in on-call rotations to support production environments. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Knowledge of security compliance standards and practices. - Background in software development or system administration. - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
