Job Title: Clinical Operations Analyst Location: Dayton, Ohio Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Remote Title: Clinical Operations Analyst ALTA is supporting a 6+-month contract opportunity working 100% remote. ALTA IT Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of System One, a leading provider of specialized workforce solutions and integrated services. ALTA is an established leader in IT Staffing and Services, for both government and commercial enterprises across the United States, specializing in Program & Project Management, Application Development, Cybersecurity, Data & Advanced Analytics, and Agile Transformation Services. The Clinical Operations Analyst III reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical operations and participates in development of solutions to improve or further leverage these functions. Essential Functions: • Work with key stakeholders to identify initiatives and tactics that support achievement of business goals and objectives • Manage tracking of initiative goals and progress against the goals • Partner with clinical functional leaders to develop work force management tools based on key metrics • Facilitate clinical work force management governance processes • Drive resolution processes for issues advanced by Clinical executive leadership • Work with key stakeholders to understand business requirements to assure alignment with organizational strategies • Facilitate root cause determination process and related remediation plans through the deployment of analytical and reporting resources • Understand the stakeholder's business culture and priorities to effectively identify business problems, assess proposed solutions, and represent the needs of stakeholders • Conduct requirements analysis, leveraging appropriate company and industry approaches and modeling techniques to develop requirements, document them according to corporate standards and procedures, and prioritize them for assigned areas • Identify inconsistencies and gaps in a complex business process • Assume a leading role in the review of reports and data for pattern identification, special cause variation identification, trend analysis, or other techniques; prepare and deliver summaries, recommendations, or alternatives of the analyzed information. • Work with business to develop a business case including return on investment, soft benefits and any regulatory issues • Participate in department meetings/activities and contribute to a collaborative team environment • Perform any other job duties as requested Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required • A minimum of two (2) years of analytical experience is required • A minimum of five (5) years of health care operations, finance, work force management, or project management experience is required • Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry is required Competencies, Knowledge and Skills: • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Strong strategic thinking sk9iills to identify innovative solutions • Understanding of business analysis principles, process, and tools • Proficient in customer relationship management tools • Understanding of a project lifecycle, including processes, techniques and tools • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Strong analytical skills • Effective listening and critical thinking skills • Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams • Extensive experience working on multiple projects • Effective decision making and problem solving skills with close attention to detail • Time management skills, ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals with a sense of urgency • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible during organizational and/or business changes • Customer service oriented Licensure and Certification: • None System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
