About the Role AlphaHire is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Designer II / Job Captain to join a dynamic and design-forward interior architecture studio based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong technical background, a passion for high-end residential and hospitality interiors, and the ability to translate design concepts into buildable, code-compliant documents. Key Responsibilities Lead the production and coordination of drawing sets from concept through construction administration. Collaborate with designers, consultants, and fabricators to ensure the design intent is carried through to completion. Produce detailed interior architectural plans, elevations, sections, and custom millwork drawings. Review and incorporate building codes, ADA standards, and jurisdictional requirements. Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and technical issues. Participate in site visits, field verifications, and construction observations. Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in interior architecture, with a focus on high-end residential or boutique commercial/hospitality projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (preferred). Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and custom fabrication. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture or related field. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
