Company Description The Alpha Omega U.S. Dental Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Alpha Omega International Dental Society, a global network of Jewish dental professionals dedicated to education, community service, and supporting initiatives in the U.S., Israel, and worldwide. Our work strengthens dental education, expands access to care, and provides humanitarian support where it is most needed. Role Description The Part-Time Assistant supports the mission-driven work of the Alpha Omega U.S. Dental Foundation by contributing to communications, administrative functions, and project coordination. This role plays a key part in strengthening dental education, advancing community health initiatives, and supporting programs in the U.S., Israel, and worldwide. The assistant will be responsible for preparing the Foundation’s monthly e-newsletter, managing social media activity, and maintaining accurate contact and donor information within the organization’s database. The role also includes supporting special projects, community events, and various creative or administrative tasks as needed. An ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and proficient with technology and digital tools, including Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Canva or similar design software, and CRM systems. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a flexible, purpose-driven environment and is eager to contribute to meaningful nonprofit and community-focused work. Qualifications • Strong computer skills and comfort with digital tools • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Experience managing and posting on social media platforms • Canva or similar graphic design experience • CRM or database management experience (preferred) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask • Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to mission-driven work • Interest in nonprofits, dental health, or Jewish community initiatives (a plus)
