Job Description: • Teach online course (EDUC 807 Teaching Children with Disabilities in Language and Communication) • Deepen graduate students’ understanding of language and communication disabilities in children • Explore the relationship between communication abilities and academic/social development • Highlight importance of teacher collaboration with service providers • Reflect on personal communication styles to meet student needs Requirements: • Master’s degree in education, speech and language, or related field required. • 5 or more years of experience in the field working with children with language variations. • 5 or more years of experience in the field working with children and their families from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. • Experience teaching at the graduate level is preferred.
