Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our construction team. This role is vital in preparing accurate project estimates, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiations, with a focus on delivering quality results within budget and schedule constraints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and management techniques to drive project success. Duties • Prepare detailed construction estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control. • Develop comprehensive project proposals by analyzing plans, specifications, and client requirements. • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. • Manage all phases of project execution from initial planning through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. • Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines. • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution. • Monitor project budgets and costs continuously to prevent overruns; implement cost control measures as needed. • Review contracts and change orders; manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status. • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Requirements • Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry. • Proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software tools. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements. • Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, safety standards, and industry best practices. • Excellent understanding of construction management processes including scheduling, cost control, and contract administration. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents accurately. • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Prior experience with construction contracts and change order management is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
