Full Description

Description: • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation • Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice • Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures • Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable • Handle e-filing • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files Requirements: • 1+ years experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred. • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment preferred. • Familiarity with local court rules, legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence. • Detail-oriented and organized • Strong time management • Clear communication across platforms (email, MS Teams) • Self-starter, able to work independently • Familiarity with case management software (training provided) Benefits: • Exceptional Work-Life Balance: At Allstate, we understand the importance of achieving harmony between work and personal life.
