About the team We’re looking for a Senior People Operations Manager to join our People team and help build the operational and analytical backbone of our HR function. This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role that blends strategy and execution — ideal for someone who loves solving real business problems, reducing complexity, and building repeatable processes that scale. You’ll improve the core people infrastructure — including compensation and benefits administration, HR systems, reporting, and compliance — and will partner cross-functionally to drive automation and bring clarity to headcount, people metrics, and decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical skillset, an eye for detail, and a bias toward action, who’s excited to turn operational excellence into a competitive advantage. If you’re motivated by building the systems that help teams win — turning data and structure into leverage for both people and business performance — and want to shape a company where employees are deeply supported to do their best work, this is your opportunity. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week. What you'll be doing You’ll own core infrastructure and analytics for a modern, fast-growing People function. You’ll have the autonomy and support to design systems that scale and make work more efficient. You’ll be part of a collaborative, people-first team that values both bold ideas and scrappy execution. You’ll help us build a more fair, inclusive workplace — powered by better data and better systems. People Operations Be the operational engine of the People team, owning core HR delivery from onboarding and benefits to systems administration and compliance. Optimize core HR systems (Rippling, Lattice, Greenhouse, Carta) by identifying opportunities to automate and reduce manual effort. Serve as a trusted partner and problem-solver for employees and managers on everything from benefits to policy questions to immigration processes. Drive special projects across the People team and cross-functional partners (e.g. performance cycle planning, compliance audits, org planning, and systems implementation). Systems, Data & Analytics Build and maintain reliable sources of truth for people data, including comp, equity, headcount, org structure, and cross-functional people data mapping— ensuring our reporting is both accurate and actionable. Design and manage dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into headcount, attrition, compensation changes, hiring trends, and other key people metrics. Analyze data to uncover insights that inform org design, retention, fairness, and performance—and partner closely with HRBPs, Finance, and leadership to turn those insights into action. Use AI tools and automation to improve process efficiency across the People function and reduce operational overhead over time. Who we’re looking for 4+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, Total Rewards, or similar functions, in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Highly skilled in Excel/Google Sheets and experienced with building clean, scalable reporting tools. Experience with data modeling and/or visualization tools is a plus. Strong working knowledge of HRIS and people tools (Rippling is a plus) including workflows, configuration, permissioning, and integrations. A builder at heart: you love turning ambiguous problems into repeatable processes and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get there. Data- and systems-minded: you’re energized by spreadsheets, workflows, and structure, and you're passionate about turning data into decisions. Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities without dropping the ball. Highly collaborative, low-ego, and skilled at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. Passionate about inclusion and committed to building scalable systems that support a diverse team. Experience with immigration processes is a plus. AI-savvy: you see automation as a way to do more impactful work while understanding how to mitigate inherent risks along the way.
