Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day shift No weekends Position will be a hybrid, with an expectation of 2 days in the office Office location will be Mercy Hospital, Unity Campus Job Description: Provides support to regional strategic partners and project managers during project completion. Coordinates purchase order initiation and maintenance; drafts contracts and other project documentation; and reviews and organizes invoices. Provides additional project support including documentation support, compiling reports, schedules meetings/activities and communicates to key stakeholders. Principle Responsibilities Provides project management support. Assists to draft applicable Requests for Proposal, contracts and other applicable documents and submit for approval. Provides reports (e.g., Financials, Risk Management, etc.). Schedules meetings. Provides documentation support. Crafts and distributes communications to key stakeholders and partners. Assists with closeout activities. Issues purchase orders(PO). Processes PO requests. Initiates Purchasing Agent Authorizations as needed. Corresponds with vendors and contractors. Documents activities in project management software. Processes Invoices. Organizes and reviews incoming invoices and applications for payment, ensuring that the correct project/PO is being charged and amounts are appropriate. Submits invoices to Project Manager for approval. Submits approved invoices to Accounts Payable. Works collaboratively with Project Manager, Accounts Payable and contractor/vendor to resolve payment and invoicing issues. Departmental operations, standardization and system support. Participates in developing and implementing standard contracts, policies, procedures and practices. Participates in system-wide initiatives. Maintains professional relationships with internal and external project delivery partners. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Associate's or Vocational degree in Construction Management Bachelor's degree in Construction Management 0 to 2 years of construction project management or related experience Licenses/Certifications Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment Physical Demands Light Work: Lifting weight up to 20 lbs. occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $27.65 to $37.90 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
