Job Description As a Security Officer - Utilities Site Patrol in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for those at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential risks to help to deter unwanted incidents at the location. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed while maintaining security-related protocols. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
