Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Full Coverage in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, respond to situations as needed, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff as needed. Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
