Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Government in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the government facility. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs according to company and client procedures. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, maintaining clear communication. Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
