As an unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting activity, and escalating to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of bus bays, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by post. Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter disorderly conduct through high-visibility presence and professional communication. Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, maintain communication with dispatch and/or site contacts, and assist with coordinating responses with local public agencies when needed. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
