Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Building Patrol in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols. Assist with access control and visitor management as required by the site. Support emergency response activities as directed, communicating promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
