Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Site Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents as required by site protocols. Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points at the location. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to address security-related needs specific to a tech, media, and telecom environment. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
