As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a shelter location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the shelter environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized individuals. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and site guidelines. Collaborate with shelter staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment. Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
