As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and engaging with the campus community to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and responding to requests for assistance. Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal supervision, local authorities, and campus personnel as needed. Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities. Support campus events and/or activities by providing a visible security-related presence, helping to deter disruptions and maintain order. Minimum Requirements: Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
