Job Description As a Security Officer - Roving Site Rounds in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, and document observations. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and coordinating communication with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction and wayfinding, and help to support controlled access practices in accordance with site procedures. Document and report incidents, observations, and patrol findings accurately using required reporting systems, and escalate concerns through the chain of command as needed. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
