Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Site Patrol - Full Time in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report on activities and incidents, documenting information as required by site procedures. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain an orderly environment within the retail location. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
