Job Description As a Security Officer -Residential Property Perimeter Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site teams while delivering customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate areas, including building common areas, lobbies, stairwells, loading areas, and exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with property management and/or public services as needed. Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, managing visitor and vendor access, and/or assisting with deliveries and move-ins per site procedures. Complete detailed reports and activity logs, communicate observations to property management, and assist with basic security-related system monitoring such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control when assigned. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
