As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to residents and visitors. Assist residents and visitors with general inquiries and directions as needed. Complete required logs, reports, and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
