Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Specialist in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling residential locations to help create a secure environment. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events. Collaborate with residents, staff, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment at the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
