## Security Officer - Property Patrol in Greenbrae, NV Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, offers rewarding careers that provide you a sense of purpose. We're looking for a Security Officer - Property Patrol to join our team at a government location in Greenbrae, serving and safeguarding clients across various industries. ### About the Role As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you'll monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You'll respond to issues with a calm, problem-solving approach, document observations carefully, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. You can explore new roles and claim additional shifts using our Claim a Shift platform to earn more—visit aus.com/earnmore for details. ### What You'll Do - Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed - Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access, and policy concerns - Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, monitoring visitor flow, and directing employees, visitors, and contractors to appropriate locations per site requirements - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and public agency personnel when appropriate - Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel during shift transitions ### Schedule This part-time position offers shifts Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. ### Pay and Benefits • *Pay Rate: $21.80 per hour** Why join us: - **Smart Tools**: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more - **Career Growth**: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities - **Financial Benefits**: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future - **Exclusive Perks**: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program ### Requirements You'll need at least 6 months of security-related experience and must be 21 years of age or older. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Pepper spray certification and handcuffing certification are preferred. As a condition of employment, you'll be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. You'll also need to complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
