What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, guests, and vendors at a tech and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from Allied Universal leadership and/or public emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, common areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Monitor access points and visitor flow by verifying identification and/or authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures. Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and support business continuity by reporting maintenance hazards and/or policy concerns through proper channels. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
