What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents. Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization where required, directing visitors to proper areas in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with site leadership, and contacting public emergency services when needed. Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents in daily reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
