Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Foot Patrol in Maspeth, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through clear communication, detailed reporting, and customer-focused service with drivers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, including checking identification, logging visitors and deliveries, and/or directing drivers to designated staging and dock areas per site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and/or supporting emergency responders as directed. Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
