Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic tech environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and to observe for unusual activity. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents or provide support during emergencies. Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changes in the environment common to technology, media, or telecom locations. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
