Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Facility Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a highly visible presence. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond professionally to incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns in and around the premises. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment. Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, activities, and observations as required by site protocols. Assist visitors and employees with directions and information, while monitoring access points to help to deter unauthorized entry. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
