As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, staff, and patients as needed, offering guidance and support while maintaining a visible presence. Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and site management to address the unique needs of the healthcare environment. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required. Minimum Requirements: Must have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
