As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as part of access control procedures. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual conditions and/or activities. Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols. Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
