Job Description As a Security Officer – Hospital Floor Specialist in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a security-related presence. Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols. Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment. Minimum Requirements: Vaccinations are required for this hospital site. Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue. Must be at least 21 years of age. May be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
